Gandaki University, Office of the Dean announces admission open for the different undergraduate programs currently for the academic year 2080/81 (2023).
Programs Offered:
Bachelor in Sports Management (BSM): BSM is a four-year (eight semester) full time study program consisting of 52 courses covering 156 credit hours. This course provides a diverse range of opportunities for higher education. After graduation, students can enroll in general management, sports management, and sport science for graduate studies. Likewise, students will be able to work in a variety of fields like Sports Journalism, Sports Federations, Sports Tourism, Sports Media and Broadcasting, and many more.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Minimum CGPA 1.6 or Equivalent in Grade XII.
Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT): BIT is a 4 year (eight semester) full time study program consisting of 45 courses covering 137 credit hours. This course is designed with the aim to hone the student’s ability with world class knowledge in advance theoretical and practical aspects. The graduate of BIT program will have ample opportunities to work as an IT officer, IT project managers, software developers, and so on.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Minimum CGPA 2.0 or Equivalent in Grade XII.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): BBA is a 4 year (eight semester) full time study program consisting of 42 courses covering 120 credit hours. The program comprises of foundation, core, specialization, elective, and capstone courses. Students also need to complete seminars, internships and project work. At Gandaki University, we are committed to producing graduates who possess the right attitude, mindset, and skills to thrive in the dynamic world of business. Likewise, students will be able to work in variety of fields, such as Entrepreneur, Airlines operation and marketing manager, Hydropower project manager, Officer in government organizations, Manager in cooperatives and microfinance institutions, Officers in central banks, commercial banks, and other banking institutions.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Minimum CGPA 1.8 or Equivalent in Grade XII.
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Legislative Law (BALLB): BALLB is a 5 years (ten semester) full time study program consisting of 75 courses covering 190 credit hours. The course includes several humanities and social science subjects such as sociology, political science, history, economics, Nepali, English etc. as minor areas of study to complement the wide range of law subjects that will be required to study. This course is fit for anyone who wants to acquire legal knowledge with their arts studies. The completion of BALLB degree will make graduate qualified to become an advocate for employment in legal profession including judicial and government services (government attorney, legal and judicial officer, judge), human right areas, legal advisor, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) expert, U.N. agencies, NGOs and INGOs, banks, financial institutions, companies and corporate bodies, research institutes and other public and private institutions.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Minimum CGPA 2.4 in 10+2 or Equivalent.
Admission Procedure:
Admission is conducted through entrance exam merit list. Merit List is based on:
- For BSM, BIT, and BALLB program 90% from entrance exam, 5% from SEE grade, and 5% from SLC (10+2) grade.
- And, for BBA program 80% from entrance exam, 10% from SEE grade, and 10% from SLC (10+2) grade.

- SLC (10+2) Grade Certificate, Character Certificate photocopy.
- Citizenship Certificate photocopy.
- Two passport-size photos.

Scholarships: Gandaki University provides various kinds of scholarships such as the Entrance Topper Scholarship (4 students), Gandaki Pradesh Entrance Topper Scholarship (2 Students), National Player Scholarship (for BSM only), Semester Topper Scholarships, and Chancellor Scholarship.

Quota: Quota is allocated for applicants representing Gandaki Province, Female, Janajaati, Madhesi, Dalit, Staff, and Foreign Students.
